Update on using your boat on the Broads

With the Government’s announcement on Sunday 10th May 2020 regarding the lifting of some restrictions on movement, the Broads Authority are now allowing private boats to navigate the Broads for DAY TRIPS only and request that when doing so, the current social distancing rules are adhered to.

Please see the Broads Authority website for more information.

Although private boats can once again be about during the day, Beccles Yacht Station is remaining closed to visitors for the immediate future.

If you have a permanent mooring with us, then please take heed of the current advice (as of 12th May 2020) from the Broads Authority and don’t use your powered boat on the rivers. We are still operating with reduced staff; therefore we are only carrying out essential weekly safety checks and will only have the harbour masters office open between 10am to 11am every Friday.
