Planning Applications during COVID-19 Restrictions

As the planning committee will not be meeting for the foreseeable future, all planning applications will still be considered under delegated authority and the public will be notified as to when they need to submit their comments in order for these to be taken into account by Beccles Town Council.

The date for the review of applications can be found at will also include a list of the applications being considered on that day. Please ensure you submit your comments either by email to or by post to Beccles Town Hall at least 5 working days before that date. Please make sure to include the application reference, your name and address, together with your comments.


You will still need to ensure that you formally respond to East Suffolk Council, who are the Local Planning Authority, in accordance with their site notice

Should you wish to make any comments on this application, please email or make them in writing, quoting the reference number, to the Planning Department, postal address located at the bottom of this notice within a period of 15 working days beginning with the date of this notice. All representations will be recorded on a public file, be viewable on the council’s website, and will be referred to by the Secretary of State’s inspector in the event of an appeal.
