Welcome to the Beccles Public Hall.

Beccles Public Hall is located in Smallgate, Beccles and dates back over 300 years. It is the principal entertainment venue in the town and has undergone extensive refurbishment works over the past few years with improved toilets and access.

It currently plays host to various Amateur Dramatic productions and live music concerts and serves the local community as a venue for craft fairs, exhibitions, drama/exercise classes, birthday parties and wedding receptions.

The Hall can accommodate 100 people seated at tables, 125-mixed occupancy, 150 dancing, 250-theatre style seated (including 60 in the balcony).

There is a stage area, which has been extended to give more access for larger shows/concerts along with carpeted dressing room areas.

Hire of the hall is subject to the conditions of the Public Entertainment Licence, Theatre Act 1968 and current health & safety/consumer protection legislation. It is also licensed for the sale of alcohol.

Monday to Sunday: 10.00-Midnight
Saturday 10.00-01.00
