Lowestoft Chess Club are moving to Rookery Park Golf Club Lowestoft Chess Club are from the first Thursday in August based at Rookery Park. We meet at 7.30 pm and all chess players are welcome. Visit our new website www.lowestoftchessclub.org
HELP As you all might know the Lowestoft air show is on the 12th and 13th Aug this year. We are again helping with the bucket collections and so have to man a gate from 7.30 am till 6.30 pm with 4 people all day. I work a rota out so that is not the same ones all the time and now I need names and the times you can give me to help out asap. The Sea cadets will get 350 a day to do this so it is a good money gatherer and we still get it even if its is pouring!!! Not only will you be helping the the sea cadets but also you get to see a great airshow. We are also having a stall selling ducks for the duck race for the two days so there will be somewhere you can take a break and sell ducks at the same time!!! PLEASE PLEASE what ever time you say you can help you must stick to it. This is your chance to help the cadets, enjoy a great show and do your bit for charity. We do have a briefing that we have to attend and you will have a choice of tues 27th or wed 28th July at the Victoria Lowestoft. If you really can not make it too either of those nights it will be no prob. If you have friends who would help they must be 18yrs and over.
